“People living in low-income communities aren’t getting sufficient access to this health-promoting resource [nature], and when they do have access, the area tends to be more polluted, the park facilities are not as well-maintained, and there is less park programming and less energy going into the programs offered,”

As an eco conscience nonprofit organization, the mission of Project Green is to partner with existing summer camps, providing them with eco friendly, green curriculum. We will help these camps by providing them with organic snacks, drinks, and food for their campers. Project Green will also sponsor children, who would not otherwise be able to afford this camp. In this way we hope to be able to make Back to Basics education and summer camp fun available to foster children as well as to low income families from the inner cities.
